1. It’s my face. Made on my iPad 2 with Adobe Ideas.

  2. Matthew, Hipster-in-Training

This is Matthew, my baby cousin. He’s 1/3 of a set of triplets and this week was his first time to be without them (doctor’s appointment, see). He’s also a hipster-in-training!

Taking Pictures Of Food 101 (He started doing this without any cue from us)

I also let him have a go on my iPad. This is his beautiful drawing:

What he did was make grids and then meticulously color everything in. I do believe his obliteration of lines and borders is a commentary on the lack of privacy in a tech-savvy modern society.

He gets it from his ate, of course.

  3. This is my cousin, Chelsea. I used sunshine hues because orange is her favorite color and because I associate golden Sunday afternoons with Chelsea. Every week since we were kids, we’ve had our Sunday lunch with our families. After putting our dishes away, we steal away to her room, share in each other’s joys and problems, and take lots of Photobooth pictures. Even though we’re taller and older, we still have that tradition of girlhood and sisterhood. Love you, BBG!

    Joyful Portrait Project

  4. Here’s my friend Addi, who has thoughts bursting out of his head. This portrait was made with Adobe Ideas on my iPad 2, and now I’m going to call that project the Joyful Portraits Project.

  5. This is sketch-portrait I made of my friend, Nikki Cembrano, while manning the T-Project booth at today’s bazaar. I used Adobe Ideas on my iPad 2. She has my dream hair (violet/bluish tips) and yellow is her favorite color.
