On the second day of our Angkorian adventures, we followed the sunrise at Banteay Srei, also known as the Lady Temple. It’s smaller than the others, brownish pink thanks to its sandstone, and well-preserved. When we arrived, the water lilies were unfurled, the little temple was nestled in greenery, and the scene was very pretty — I fell in love right away.
